Annual Meeting
At the 2010 Annual Meeting, nearly 100 community members and leaders heard from Mayor Greg Ballard, CHIP past and present Board Chairmen Tony Rogers and John Willey, Advocacy Council Chair Patricia Chandler, and CHIP's executive director, Timothy C. Joyce. The speakers focused on the community's progress towards ending and preventing homelessness over the last year. They highlighted CHIP's priority initiatives for 2010: the Engagement Center, and how new public and private partnerships and support are advancing this effort in 2010; a new Youth Initiative, which addresses the Blueprint's goal to development housing for unattached youth; and Indy Resource Connect, which addresses prevention through a series of one-day service events targeted towards households at risk of homelessness.
