CHIP announces new Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) is pleased to announce that Alan Witchey has been chosen as CHIP’s new Executive Director.

After an exhaustive search, reviewing more than 300 resumes and conducting several rounds of interviews, the Board’s Search Committee—Karin Thornburg, Midtown Mental Health; Mark Buckingham, Hearts and Hands; Kevin Lennon, NCAA; Val Hogston, board member; Christy Shepard, current Executive Director; and Steve Karn, Bank of America (Board Chair)—unanimously determined that Mr. Witchey was the top candidate and the full Board unanimously supported the search committee’s decision.

Alan Witchey will officially begin his appointment on May 26, 2015.  Please join us in welcoming him and the next exciting chapter in CHIP’s history.
