CHIP and the Indianapolis Continuum of Care invites you to a day dedicated to youth homelessness. Join Dr. Matthew Morton, Research Fellow at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, as he explores the findings of his groundbreaking research into youth homelessness. As the Principal Investigator for Voices of Youth Count, a national research and policy initiative focused ending youth homelessness, Morton will explore surprising new findings for pregnant and parenting youth, LGBTQ populations, rural youth, and key strategies for early intervention and prevention. Participants will also discuss practical opportunities for local implementation and consider strategies for statewide engagement.
If you are interested in research and policy issues surrounding youth homelessness, we encourage you to attend! We will have lunch provided and great information to share with you. Most importantly, we would love to hear your voice and empower you to be an advocate!
Please feel free to spread the news about our event to other organizations who are interested in policy advocacy around homelessness. We do have attendance limits due to the size of our space, so we ask for organizations to be mindful of how many reservations they fill. We recommend organizations sending 1-2 individuals to represent their agency.
