2025 Chip Celebration

The Annual CHIP Celebration is our signature fundraising event that brings together community members, advocates, service providers and partners dedicated to ending homelessness in Indianapolis. This vibrant gathering highlights the collective impact of our work, celebrates the achievements of the past year, and honors the individuals and organizations making a difference in our community.

Held at The Crane Bay Event Center, the 2025 CHIP Celebration promises an unforgettable evening filled with inspiring stories, engaging conversations, and opportunities to support our mission. This event plays a crucial role in sustaining and expanding our programs, including the Street Reach Indy fund, the Handbook of Help and our broader efforts to provide safe, stable, and affordable housing.

Join us as we come together to foster an inclusive community, promote compassionate care, and drive meaningful change. Your participation and support help us strengthen CHIP’s operational capacity, implement equitable practices, and ensure that everyone in Indianapolis has a place to call home.

2024 Diamond Service Award Winner

Imani Y. Sankofa, an advocate with a deeply personal connection to homelessness, has dedicated herself to fighting for equity and sustainable solutions. In 2001, she shared her own journey as a single mother facing homelessness in an article for NUVO’s “The Blueprint To End Homelessness.” At that time, Imani was raising three school-age children while navigating the challenges of maintaining stability and pursuing higher education. Her firsthand experiences include grappling with the complexities of accessing assistance, lack of resources, transportation barriers, and the stigma associated with seeking support. With a decade of experience in the education system, Imani witnessed the profound impact of homelessness on students’ academic performance, mental well-being, and social development.

Imani’s dedication to addressing every facet of homelessness stems from her belief in the power of compassionate action and systemic change.
