The Youth Homelessness NOFO combines funding from FY2024 and FY2025 for both the Youth Homelessness Systems Improvement (YHSI) grants and Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program
(YHDP).
2026 HUD CoC YHDP NOFO
Prospective applicants are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 9:00-10:00 AM ET to coordinate their funding plans to comprehensively respond to youth homelessness. This meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with attendees invited to join virtually via Microsoft Teams or in person at the offices of the Department of Metropolitan Development at the City County Building (200 E Washington St., Ste. 2042, Indianapolis, IN 46204). 2026 CoC YHDP NOFO Announcement
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD) announced the publication of the Youth Homelessness NOFO, CPD-2600-DC-0035, on June 10th, 2026. This YHDP NOFO offers $193,000,000 to help communities develop systems and projects to dramatically reduce youth homelessness.

The project application is now available below and is due by July 20, 2026 at 7:59 am. The completed application must be sent to CoCNOFO@indy.gov.
The CoC will be hosting office hours to answer technical questions about the application on July 9, 2026, from 1 pm to 3 pm. The office hours will be held virtually and are open to applicants at any time during the scheduled hours. A new project webinar will begin during office hours at 1 pm.
