Summer Solstice Jubilation

CHIP held the Summer Solstice Jubilation on Thursday, June 21 at Central Library to celebrate the individuals and families in the Indianapolis community who have overcome homelessness in the past year (June 1, 2017 – June 1, 2018). This inaugural event recognized those who have been housed and thank the community’s service providers who have assisted them on their journey.

3,009 people were housed in the City of Indianapolis in the past 12 months (June 1, 2017 – June 1, 2018), totaling 489,613 days housed. Additionally, 466 of these individuals were housed using subsidies provided by the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program grant, totaling 49,225 days housed.
