The Continuum of Care (CoC) is the greater Indianapolis community’s approach to addressing homelessness, made up of local individuals and organizations committed to the prevention and intervention including CHIP Indy, our lead support agency. To achieve our goal of ending homelessness in Indianapolis, we identify critical needs in the community and address them by building lasting systems of housing and service.

Holy Family Shelter (Catholic Charities)

Holy Family Shelter, a program of Catholic Charities Indianapolis, opened in 1984 as the first emergency shelter specifically for homeless families in Indianapolis.

Horizon House

Horizon House supports our neighbors experiencing homelessness with integrated, comprehensive services so they can secure and maintain housing.

Homeless Initiative Program (HIP)

HIP helps homeless persons in Marion and Monroe counties reach a level of self-sufficiency consistent with their goals and capabilities for health and social well being

HVAF

HVAF provides housing and re-integration services for homeless veterans and programs to prevent at-risk veterans from becoming homeless.

Wheeler Mission

Wheeler is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and need in Central and South Central Indiana without discrimination.
