Harnessing Collective Strengths

The Continuum of Care (CoC) is the greater Indianapolis community’s approach to addressing homelessness, made up of local individuals and organizations committed to the prevention and intervention including CHIP Indy, our lead support agency. To achieve our goal of ending homelessness in Indianapolis, we identify critical needs in the community and address them by building lasting systems of housing and service.

Adult & Child Health is an integrated healthcare provider in Central Indiana that strives for equitable, caring communities, where all people have the opportunity to live healthy, purposeful lives.


BWI (Black and White Investments, LLC) is a Minority-owned real estate development and construction services business that brings professional resources to mixed-use, multi-family development and construction management.


CHIP (Coalition for Homelessness Intervention & Prevention) coordinates the Indianapolis community’s response to homelessness.

Coburn Place offers compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children.

Damien Center

Damien Center is Indiana’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization (ASO) and serves individuals living with or at risk for HIV through a comprehensive, innovative approach to HIV care and prevention.

Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis

Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis is a partnership of congregations and community organizations responding to the crisis of children and their families who are homeless.

Gennesaret Free Clinics

Gennesaret Free Clinics provide quality, accessible, and compassionate patient-centered healthcare regardless of one’s insurance coverage or ability to pay.

Greater Indianapolis Multi-Faith Alliance (GIMA)

The Greater Indianapolis Multifaith Alliance gathers faith leaders representing diverse religious traditions to collaborate on civic projects that serve the common good of greater Indianapolis.

Holy Family Shelter (Catholic Charities)

Holy Family Shelter, a program of Catholic Charities Indianapolis, opened in 1984 as the first emergency shelter specifically for homeless families in Indianapolis.

Horizon House

Horizon House supports our neighbors experiencing homelessness with integrated, comprehensive services so they can secure and maintain housing.

Homeless Initiative Program (HIP)

HIP helps homeless persons in Marion and Monroe counties reach a level of self-sufficiency consistent with their goals and capabilities for health and social well being


HVAF provides housing and re-integration services for homeless veterans and programs to prevent at-risk veterans from becoming homeless.

The Indianapolis Foundation

The Indianapolis Foundation mobilizes people, ideas and investments to make this a community where all individuals have equitable opportunity to reach their full potential.

The Indianapolis Housing Agency

The Indianapolis Housing Agency provides low-income families, seniors and families with disabilities access to affordable housing.

Indy Crime Intervention Taskforce

Indy Crime Intervention Task Force is an organization made up of community volunteers and formerly incarcerated individuals that partners with organizations to address community issues.

Lutheran Child & Family Services

Lutheran Child and Family Services of Indiana/Kentucky, Inc. (LCFS) is a non-profit, 501(c)3social service organization that offers both residential and community-based services to families and children.

Marion County Public Health Department

The Marion County Public Health Department promotes physical, mental, and environmental health, prevent and protect against disease, injury, and disability.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for all types of emotional and behavioral problems.

Step-Up, Incorporated provides prevention, education, care coordination, medical case management, and counseling to a wide array of members in our community vulnerable to HIV.

Stopover Inc.

Stopover provides safe shelter, supportive services, and housing to unaccompanied youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis.

Trinity Haven

Trinity Haven provides safe, welcoming, and affirming housing for LGBTQ young adults experiencing housing instability.

United Way of Central Indiana

United Way of Central Indiana stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our partners to help our neighbors in crisis, pave the way for families to succeed, and stop generational poverty in its tracks.

Veterans Administration

The Veterans Administration cares for those who have served in our nation’s military and for their families, caregivers, and survivors.

Wheeler Mission

Wheeler is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and need in Central and South Central Indiana without discrimination.

*Individual and advocate membership agreements are held at CHIP and help inform membership distribution lists, CoC voting eligibility, and eligibility for Blueprint Council elections.
