A true community collaboration, the annual Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a federally mandated, single-night census of Marion County residents experiencing homelessness. The collected data informs both local and national strategies to address homelessness. More importantly, every number represents a real, human life, and an Indianapolis resident whose foundational human right to safe, stable, and affordable housing has not yet been realized.
Before you explore the dashboard below, we encourage you to review our PIT overview to understand PIT methodology. Please note the data dashboard will not be visible on tablet or mobile devices.
